HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Office on Trafficking in Persons, An Office of the Administration of Children & Families

We know human trafficking destroys lives and threatens our Nation’s security, public health, and the rule of law. We care because our programs serve some of the Nation’s most vulnerable children, youth, and families. Together, we can assist survivors and prevent human trafficking. If you or someone you know may have experienced forced labor or commercial sexual exploitation, there is help. Call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 888-373-7888 or text BEFREE (233-733).

Look Beneath the Surface

Could you spot a victim of trafficking in a crowd? Probably not — victims may not look any different than anyone else you see every day.

Through the HHS Look Beneath the Surface campaign, we work with grantees and partners to raise awareness of human trafficking and the factors that make certain populations more at risk.

The campaign also empowers health care providers and faith-based and community organizations to help identify individuals who may be experiencing trafficking and connect them with services by calling the National Human Trafficking Hotlinevisit disclaimer page at 888-373-7888.
